There's really no way to reach me...

I hadn't planned on making this, they were just supposed to be separate images in a black/white themed shoot I was doing with my boyfriend, but I thought they looked rather nice as a group. I don't really end up in front of the camera too often anymore; I am even less fond of how I look now than before, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.

I think this is a really interesting series. Apart, I think they would have much less of an effect. This tells me a story, I can imagine so many different situations that you might find a series of photos like this. Wonderful effort. I think the black and white really add to the series as well. The thing that is most bothersome to me is how harsh and blinding the light is. At some points, it looks washed out because of it. Other then that, nice work!

Thank you so much. I was worried that the black and white might be too "cliche" but I'm very glad you think it works well. And I understand completely what you mean about the light. I absolutely hate it. I tried to fix the contrast, but when I pulled the light down, everything else became indistinguishable. I'm not sure if the pictures themselves are just not suited for the desaturated scheme or if I'm simply no good at editing. Either way, thank you so much for your feedback, it really does mean so much to me.

The highly detailed foilage goes nicely with the more plain foreground; I think they compliment each other. I also like that you've put these 3 related photos together, it definitely adds a a sort of stroy element a someone else previously mentioned.

I agree that this is a very nice concept. I like how you two end up meeting at the end but not interacting. The title fits perfect for this piece and once again, the lack of seeing your faces straight on helps portrayed the fact that "There's really no way to reach [you]".

Also, I hope that you overcome that challenge of staying behind the camera. Confidence is the greatest form of attraction. (I mean Flavor Flav gets women lol) I'm not comparing you to home by the way. But my stepmother is ≈ 40 with 2 kids and she's beautiful to me because she's confident with her look. You're beautiful, don't doubt that for a second.
